Milton is coming in on mop up duty, only. Hooker is awesome and his stats are amazing. Not trying to start any argument or suggest there is any sort of controversy, Hooker has certainly earned it.

But...........Milton.......looks like a brand new man. His throws are crisp, on point and simply a beauty. If Milton came in for a series here and there it would certainly throw defenses for a loop. I am very impressed with his maturity. He stuck around, hell he's one play away at all times. I think they could do some of this from time to time without messing up Hooker's rythm. Hooker is too much of a seasoned vet now to not be able to handle a bit of shared time.

Milton and Hooker are very close. They are roommates and do a lot of things together outside of football. They are truly friends and push each other. A lot of QB rooms don't get along. These guys live together.

Could you imagine a back field with both of them on the field at the same time?

No. I strongly disagree. For the first time in years we went into the year without qb controversy. Why would take a chance to mess that up with flip flopping drives

Not even a wrinkle here and there? I didn't say flip flopping drives.

Disagree. If you have two starting QBs, you have zero starting QBs. So much of playing QB is leadership/command and rhythm, both of which most often get screwed up when you have a split QB situation. It never works well.

The point of the co starter situation at the QB position is to no longer have a co starter situation.

Please read the post. No one suggested splitting (as in half) playing time.

No. We don't need to muddy the waters. Hooker is the leader of the team. Milton gets his reps in mop up duty this year and he's the man next year. Stop it.

Some of you would be mad, very mad, if Milton came in at the goal line with 37 seconds left in the first half against Florida and ran it in for a score, or worse found a wide open tight end or receiver.

Nope. If we need a Hail Mary from beyond the 50 yard line, then Milton is my guy. Otherwise this is Hooker's team and there's no reason to screw with it.

What if Milton comes on field and Hooker throws him a short pass and Milton runs in for score. Would that mess things up?
