For over three years, critics of President Joe Biden have watched dumbfounded as he has resolutely refused to close the southern border. Unfettered illegal immigration has led to deaths from fentanyl poisoning, outbreaks of once-rare diseases like measles and tuberculosis, surging crime in sanctuary cities, heightened national security concerns — and abysmal approval ratings for the president.

Though he has denied it, Biden has had the ability at any time to reimpose the guardrails erected by former President Donald Trump, who instituted the “remain in Mexico” provision, demanded Mexico help slow the north-bound caravans, ended the Obama-era “catch-and-release” practice, built sections of border fencing and introduced other measures that reduced illegal crossings. In his first weeks in office, Biden undid more than a dozen Trump-era rules, and has now allowed now more than 5 million people to flood into the country.

Abdication of responsibility on the border has become a top political headache for Biden, and yet — other than blaming Republicans for not passing an immigration law that he dishonestly claims would have solved the problem — the president has been unmovable.

There are three possible reasons for his stubborn embrace of a policy that even his Democratic colleagues opposed not so long ago.

we have had plenty of ex-presidents stick their noses in matters where they no longer belong. Obama has made multiple appeals for laws or spoken against proposals. even directly to members of congress.

as usual with you, its only a problem when Trump does it.

You guys keep comparing this to what you think is the Trump plan of ZERO illegal immigrants coming in, which is a fool's errand and can never occur. Trump was thwarted by the courts a number of times when he tried to act as POTUS, and in fact Trump himself while in office called for legislation precisely to expedite these processes.

Until he feared it would have helped Biden to have it pass on his watch.

I posted about this recently. The ones that are here already want that border closed ASAP. They see all the crime and cartel members and ridiculousness and know that not only does it make Americans dislike and distrust them...that it may have repercussions that wreck what they already have themselves.

1. First remove every fire alarm and fire extinguisher from the house. ( removing the laws etc by XO in his 1st 48 hours in office) then...

2. Intentionally set the house on fire! ( make laws/policies to start and continue the illegal invasion. Like the brand new $5000 ATM cards handed to them with their "asylum" and "process and release in US" instead of "catch and deport") then...

3. Watch the house burn forever while doing nothing at all to stop it ( allow 3 million plus invaders to walk in per year for 4 years straight. Plus the ones that we don't process or know about) then ...

4. Make up a plan to allow the house to burn forever indefinitely and call it a "solution" with a clause in the plan that also says Dimwits can scrap the plan at any given moment if they want to.. and call the plan "bipartisan" because they bought/blackmailed a couple traitors ( the "plan" allows 5000 illegals PER DAY to walk into this country and also has a "kill switch " for Dimwits to put us right back where we are now or worse at ANY time in the future. It was so preposterous they knew it had ZERO CHANCE of passing)

Mass Release of Children From Border Has Put ‘unprecedented’ Strain On US Schools​


Tens of thousands of immigrant children who crossed the southern border alone and were released to an adult sponsor in the United States have been enrolled in public schools nationwide under President Joe Biden, putting educators in a bind.

Over the past three years, more than 8 million people have been encountered at the southern border, including nearly 500,000 unaccompanied children, which does not include children who arrived with a family member.


The impact of so many children arriving in the country and enrolling in schools nationwide has not been insignificant, according to immigration policy experts.

Children who come across the southern border are protected from immediate removal in most cases and will be transferred from Border Patrol custody to the Department of Health and Human Services. HHS will then look for a relative or parent in the U.S. to release the child as he or she awaits immigration proceedings years down the road, though the child may be let go to an unrelated adult if a family member cannot be found.
