Miles, Chavis, Martin

If what I have read is true and Les Miles become HC at TN
and no one else will be interviewed then I can honestly say there are only 2 coaches that can handle Saban, Smart, Jimbo Fisher and Mullen and they are Mike Leach or Lane Kiffin. Neither will be hired by Fulmer. Fulmer lives in the past and his football ideology is the same today as it was when he was fired. Unfortunately, for TN, it will be a long time before they even get to smell a championship. It Just will NOT happen. In about 4-6 years from now, this situation will be revisited. Sad for all who support TN
I like Leach. Would’ve been on board with his hire, but to say he’s one of the only two coaches who could handle anyone in the SEC is ridiculous. Dudes been on an 8-9 win streak for his entire coaching career, with one great year and a couple of subpar ones sprinkled in.

It’s a very good resume, but it hardly will strike fear into Saban. And for Christ sake, keep Hal Mumme far far away from Knoxville.

 Great staff. Just imagine if Les had replaced Cameron at LSU with Tee...he could still be there and winning consistently.

Orgeron's first decision as interim head coach was firing Cameron, and a very fine decision. The problem though is its well known that Les had his fingers into the play calling way too much.

The problem with Les, is he never gave his team the coaching advantage on a play by play basis on offense - Les had become a liability. His philosophy was execution - we put our big guys against your big guys... we'll win 70%+. The problem with that is of course you are not giving your team any type of advantage and that isn't going to work against the top 25 teams.

LSU was clearly more organized by the next week after firing Miles/Cameron like night and day difference. Plays came in on time and execution was better and there was surprise on their side.
