Let's say (imagining here) Fulmer retires, gets fired w/e. Let's say we get an offensive coach (Petterson, Kiffin) idk, and he wants to clean house and fires Chavis. I think that Mike Stoops is going to be gone from Arizona. He had great defenses in Oklahoma and would be a great hire. IDK if he wants to be a hc somewhere else, but I think that hire him as DC if we clean house would be excellent. There's a lot of ifs, but just an idea out there if we get a change at the top.

Well, Stoops shouldn't be a HC ANYWHERE. But, I would gladly take him as a DC. Just don't give your hopes up

Oh i know. I'm just saying that he would be a great, great hire if we get a new coach. Chavis is staying here as long as Fulmer is here. I got dat. But like I said before, we bring in a offensive hc, Stoops would be the perfect choice for DC.

If there is a coaching change, whoever comes in will want to clean house and fire Chavis. There might be one or two lower level guys that are retained, but I would be surprised if anybody of import remains after the keys are handed over.
