As a whole when you see interviews with Tennessee athletes across the sports there are a lot of well-spoken high character young people. At their age I would not have had the composure that they show.
I know that they have training on how to deal with the public and with reporter interviews. The players embrace it because they are selling a brand with their NIL deals. It's refreshing to see the shift. The negative off the field stuff has improved as well. I've noticed this at many of the other schools as well with the player interviews.
NIL has brought some positives that were unexpected IMO. It makes being a fan easy when they showcase the feel-good stories with high character families instead of all the sensational negativity.
