If we're aren't getting a home run hire, why not roll the dice on Leach? Isn't Brohm 6-6 at Purdue this year? Doesn't that sound like Dooley and Butch. He may be great, but it's not like other schools are dying to have him.

At some point you have to ask yourself what you have to lose (I'll wait to get flamed on that last remark).

If you're going to roll the dice, at least do it with an up-and-comer. Leach has been a head coach for 16 years. He has as many conference championships as I do. There's no reason to think he would win one at this point in his career and in a tougher conference.

Leach has taken a program similar to Vandy and made them very good. WSU beat USC and Stanford this year.

Stop comparing Brohm to Dooley. He inherited a terrible program that just went 3-9 and instantly got them to 6-6 and a bowl game. How is that anything like Dooley? Plus Brohm went 30-10 at his mid-major school whereas Dooley was sub-.500 at La Tech. There is no comparison there.
