The SEC is not overrated, but the Pac-12 is very underrated. For years, Sagarin has rated the SEC as the best conference in America. Sagarin isn't some talking head; this is based on actual data. However, Sagarin has also shown the Pac-12 is very close.

The conference that is actually overrated: the Big 10. Not so much this season, but in years past, the Big 10 has been very overrated. It's overrated primarily because many of the media types are Big 10 guys. Which is also why we got trashed for rejecting a Big 10 guy with character issues; if Schiano were coaching at Louisiana-Lafayette instead of THE Osu, we wouldn't have seen the media trashing us.
