success on the field will determine all of this in the future.

what i think you can give Hammy credit for now is putting the money where his mouth was. they are pulling out all the stops to put together as good a staff as they possibly can.

there is no hesitation or anything. they are going after who they want, regardless. And for the most part, they're getting them.

i think if you were to outline this as a steps in a process, so far in that process Hammy's done just fine.

but it will probably still be a couple/three years out before we can all sit back and go thumbs up or down at this whole thing.

so far though, so good.

I agree that ultimately the success will be determined by the results on the field. But at this point, without that measurable, I'm very happy with the new direction of our program. The kicker for me was the realization that what has transpired over the past couple months exceeded even my best expectations.

Its been incredibly refreshing and exciting.

I'm excited but only time will tell. Certainly a lot of money tied up but we'll see if if it works.Can't be any worse.
