For your future edification. I don't need to provide you a source. I don't talk out of my ass. Well, usually anyway:whistling:

I wasn't trying to be a jerk about having or not having a source, I just wanted to go read something else for a while. That link was all I was looking for, not a comment about my vocabulary. So, thanks.

I heard that Oregon and Washington will go hard after peterson, who likes the west coast area.

No way, I love Troop but they all need to stay in ol steelwater texas. Gundy or anyother coach besides stoops cant win in the SEC.

Could it be that we've been suffering from a lack in chest bumps? Seriously, maybe we just didn't have anyone to step in and encourage and fire guys up?

Mike Leach is worse than Gundy? Did you happen to watch their game? Honestly, some of you people need to actually sit down and watch college football and try to comprehend it.

Why not sit down and look at how Mike Leach has done at Texas Tech over more than just a one year period? He and Les Miles had pretty much identical records while Miles was at Okie State. How many times has Miles been called an idiot on VN?

I know exactly what Leach has done at Texas Tech. Are you going to tell me he has the talent that Oklahoma or Texas has? They're ranked #2 in the nation. He's been a winner everywhere he's been. I seem to remember Tim Couch going up and down the field on our defense pretty easily under him.

I don't know if he's "right for Tennessee", but to dog him like some of you have is rediculous.

Are you telling me he's going to have the talent that Florida and Bama have if he comes to Tennessee? He'll be a punching bag for Saban and Meyer.

My point is, he's beating Top 10 teams with less talent. In case you haven't noticed, we're already a punching bag. Most here want Kiffin to come, as long as he "brings someone with him". That's a much bigger gamble than Leach IMO. Like I said, I want what's best for the program.

I'm pretty sick of people propping up coaches with "He's better than what we have." Great logic. He's better than a guy that went 3-9 and got fired. He must be some sort of coaching god.

I don't seem to see those words in any of my posts. There's only one God and he's not a football coach. It just amazes me that people put him down for things other than his coaching ability.

And I don't see where I've "down"ed him for anything other than being a mediocre head coach.

I would think if T Boone likes him and has confidence in him, he isn't going anywhere. The man could buy Haslam about 4 times.

Might only be 3 times the way the stock market has been, then again I'm sure Haslam's net worth has probably taken a hit also.
