Mike Griffith...

I think the fact that I counted most of MTSU's football coaching staff amongst my regulars at my former job makes me more connected than anyone that writes for the KNS. Maybe I should go work there.

Or here. The pay sucks, but the bennys are pitiful.

if i were y'all, i'd just stop listening.....it ain't ever going to change....you know what you're getting when you tune in. it's as pointless as the drivel coming across the airwaves.

I got some very good laughs from this thread! Especially after I remembered hearing Don freakin Devoe break the West story before I heard it anywhere else....

I'm pretty sure Griffith makes his Tennessee Message Board rounds under the moniker "Writer32".

Or it's a fan that posts about every blog he writes.

He's on a real roll tonight. He has blamed Dave Clawson for Fulmer's firing, said that Fulmer should not have been fired if Hamilton didn't have a replacement already lined up, and that having QBs wear green jerseys in practice is why Crompton stinks.

yeah
being almost dead last in offensive categories, had no impact

Acting as if 2008 is the only reason Fulmer was let go makes a lot of sense.
It's hilarious. Fulmer supporters act as if he has no accountability. Hire a bad coordinator? Not his fault. Win the same number of SEC Titles the last decade as Kentucky? Not his fault.

you don't really think getting shellacked by UF and Bama is Fulmer's fault do you?

It's the players fault, hat you know that. And it's not like Fulmer has any say in who plays at UT. You evidently are disconnected.

Not near as much as 10 years without winning anything of substance. Fulmer is gone for a simple reason: He could no longer adequately do his job.

It's really that simple.

After getting a raise and extension last year, it looks like the ineffectiveness of Clawson's offense took it's toll on Fulmers career...

even if we grant you that, who hired Clawson? The man in charge is held accountable for everything his reports do

and he's paid for it too..
He should have canned Clawson after the Auburn game, when we couldn't get within FG range, despite getting the ball in great field position several times in the 4th qtr
