Ligon and the whole TN camp refuse to admit to themselves that we are getting schemed at the line of scrimmage. Josh McNeil admitted as much in his interview.

I just watched some replays of a lot of the running plays and they were dead before they got started. Most of the time, it wasn't a physical domination but stunts and slants and well designed run blitzes.

Now, this is expected; the other coaches are paid to do such awful things as trying to surprise you. But to have no answer for it is disturbing.

Then again, it hurts when you get beat them deep.
it makes me wonder about our self scouting....if we even do that....i wonder if anyone ever asks the question....what would beat us, if we continue to do this? i mean, what would we do, to beat a team like TN? and i know they do it, but you bring up a good point. the surprise factor that they seem to have about what FL did on some of this stuff really makes you wonder.:whistling:

I can't remember the last thing that I read from Griffith that didn't start with "I used to cover Bama".
