Yeah having all new players on the oline had nothing to do with limiting our offense. Troll on troll on,

BS card pulled on this one. This week, last week, VT, App State...the common theme here is that Debord has no imagination, nor creativity when it comes to play calling. He may as well be plugged up to the same headsets as any opposing DC that he goes against. No difference. If one is the OC and know that you have new players up front, how about some misdirection? Maybe even remotely CHALLENGING the DB's? Hell, even a quick Hail Mary down the field and hope for PI is better than nothing. How about a HUNH and wear Bama's big asses out? Anything but trying to continuously run between the tackles.

Run one more sweep. Or a swing pass to the back. Try to go outside over and over against the fastest D you will play. He is a dumba $$.

It seemed like we were on to something great early on the first drive of the game when we had Hurd in as a lead blocker. Kamara was getting good solid yardage. Bama's DBs were also creeping up. We could have burned them with some PA passing, but, just as quickly as we came out running with a lead blocker, we abandoned it and went back to a strict read and delayed handoff. I don't recall seeing it again the rest of the game. That was frustrating.

For the Vols saying it is Butchs system and not Debord. Butch has an offense he likes. If we had a decent play caller the system is fine. We have seen that in the past when Debord wakes up in the second half after an IV of Geritol. Plain and simple he is not qualified to be an OC. I would love to have him be our OL coach and bring in an actual play caller.

We lost to them by 5 last season at their dump, I know we're beat up as bad as I can remember in 20 years but I would've bet the farm that we'd been more competitive than loosing by 39 at home.
