I respect traditions, just not lame ones
They are intentionally lame. It's a tradition to preserve history. It started many years ago when A&M was getting beaten badly. The crowd went so flat that a student got up and started doing an impromptu comedy routine to entertain the crowd...and it was really lame. I don't remember the rest of the story. Maybe one of our Aggie visitors can explain it better.
