After watching Georgia and Bama go at it and the amount of talent on both of those teams it’s abundantly clear we are a middle tier SEC team and will be one for the foreseeable future. We aren’t even close to being on those team’s level. 8-4 and 7-5 seasons will be the benchmark and scrapping it out with Mizzou, Kentucky and South Carolina.

Yet this year we were right there with Bama in the 4th quarter. We have a ways to go but can close that gap quickly.

After losing 30 to 40 players including some of the best on the team, having a coaching change, new offense and defense, we are lucky we are not dead last. I want to be top tier also, but reality is reality. I think this team overachieved given the circumstances at the beginning of the year. Don't be a pollyanna. Face reality for what it is.

I’d jump on the bandwagon. This may not be for you with the weak attitude.

Is this the first game you watched this season?

Tennessee exposed Georgia’s secondary. We could have made it interesting if we’re able to make some plays in Georgia territory in the second half. We just didn’t have the depth or the talent to match Georgia.

Alabama used our game plan of attacking Georgia vertically. They had the depth and talent to match Georgia.

I don’t think we are that far behind Alabama or Georgia. We just need to finish this class strong and use the portal to strengthen some spots on defense and the oline. Our “23 class could be elite if we trending in the right direction.

I think we get to 10 next year if we can plug some spots from the portal. An elite rush end is vital as well as Hooker and Tillman coming back.

That is where the program is right now but prepare to be bashed by the board police.

We need an infusion of talent from the transfer portal like Louisville used to do.

Is Auburn on Alabama’s level? 4 OT game. Most teams need some luck to have incredible seasons. Even Bama this year if they lost to Auburn they wouldn’t be going to the playoffs.

Dude where have you been - we won 3 games last year and lost 20 kids to the transfer portal = were you expecting us to win the National Championship?
