they dad said he took away his identity when he took away his xbox. that's just sad. my kids can play video games, but it won't control their lives

Terrible story, but if any lesson is to be learned, it is that allowing your kids to live their lives almost entirely in a virtual world really takes away from their ability to function normally in the real one.
