Take him, see what he can do for a few weeks behind lane and neal(possibly green too) then give him the boot when green emerges

I think the article indicated he could play right away this fall since he is getting the associates. That being said, I wouldn't use a scholarship on him. He can walk on and earn a scholly if he has changed.

"Although Arkansas Baptist College, a historically black college, is a four-year school, it also offers two-year associate's degrees. If Michael graduates in May, he would be immediately eligible at the NCAA's FBS level next fall."

HALE NO!! better not. Talk about bad pub.

What's worse than losing to Vandy and Kentucky in consecutive years? Give him a short leash. It would make us look better if anything if it worked out. If not, he looks bad for screwing up an opportunity.

Butch would have to do his own due diligence on this to be sure, however If this article is factual and a real change has been made, yes I would. We've all made mistakes in our lives - some big, some small. It's cliche to say "everyone deserves a second chance", but if this kid has really gotten his life back on track then why not be part of a great story.

I know I would. Here's a recent article about what he's been doing lately....also Butch Jones just followed him on Twitter. Maybe something brewing, who knows??

Former Auburn star Michael Dyer ready to run again

Initially I said absolutely not then I read the story. If CBJ thought the kid had matured enought to stay out of trouble and really help the program then I would support it. This kid is getting a second chance and there won't be a third.

"I'm not TRYIN to take you to jail; so you just wanna give ME the gun, and let me dispose of it?" pps.

Yeah, this sounds like a REAL good plan. NOT!

Yes, I'd take him. If he graduates he does not have to sit a year. Didn't you read the article? Two years to play. Give him a chance.

Dyer is a take if CBJ thinks he has got his act together. Yes, he is a behavioral risk but he may have realized what can be lost through bad behavior. Give him a chance with the understanding that he will be under constant and close scrutiny. If he screws up again, it is on his head. If he doesn't, UT just landed a talented RB.

Or, we could start handling rattlesnakes--some don't bite that hard. Good God people---win at all cost?

I see I am surrounded by teens in here.

Please, let's not stoop to bammer's level. Character should have a say in who wears the Orange. People don't change-----as a rule.

Please stop. If CBJ feels its worth the risk, I would be fine with it. Would fill a huge need.
