I posted this on another thread, but I wanted to start a thread since it was the highlight of my gameday experience.

As I was leaving the stadium immediately after the failed 2 pt conversion, we were accompanied by Anthony and Michael Munoz. I sit above the tunnel and recruits in Y9; they were sitting field level next to the recruits. We were walking down as they were walking up and I recognized them instantly. I yelled to my buddy who was a few feet behind me and everyone heard me and began yelling their names. What happened next was a public observation of a NFL hall of famer and an all-american UT alum exiting the stadium very early. I didn't mean to call them out, and they just shook their heads and didn't say anything in particular.

I wonder what they said to eachother right before they stood up, got their stuff, and took the walk-of-shame. I wonder if like me and my buddy, they had seen enough when Crompton ran over and taunted the UF sideline. I also wonder if like me, they didn't know when the next time they would walk through those mystical gates of Neyland Stadium because the UT horizon is dark as far as the eye can see.

I know Michael was kind of a bust being an AA who didn't even get drafted, but his dad is a legend and NFL Hall of Famer. The life's they have and the one I live have hardly nothing in common. But for 60 seconds, we were grouped together, one in the same: Early-exiting and pissed off Vol fans.

I admire the Munoz's and am proud they are part of the UT family...Sad everybody was having to take that walk :(
