Didnt we sign a high school AA named Meyers-White not to long ago? I was watching the Hawaii-ASU game and ASU had a guy named Meyers-White. It's hard for me to believe that there are 2 guys out there playing major college ball with the same hyphenated last name.

Adam Myers-White is on our current roster. ASU has a player on their roster listed as Keno Walter-White.Player Bio: Keno Walter-White :: Football

Yup, 4* guy at safety, I believe, and they turned him into a LB. I hope he progresses like most turning juniors do.

I'm assuming he redhshirted and will be a sophomore next year. If not, we totally wasted his eligibility.

Nope. He is a sophomore this year. And with the amount of talent we have at linebacker for the next few years, who knows if he'll ever get much playing time. Maybe he could drop some weight and move back to safety? I doubt it, but it's something to consider.

That's ridiculous. I cannot recall him seeing the field in 2005. I think he hardly saw the field this year, except a few times on special teams. What a waste of two years.

His player bio said he appeared in 7 games in 05, but yea we really didn't need him on the field last year.

Adam Myers-White might be another one of those "Boy, we missed the boat on that one" type of guys, and at the same time might be a "Wow, this was worth waiting for!"

We've had our share of talented players like this that never could find their niche on the playing field. Remember Seven Marsh, Corey Larkin and O.J. Owens?

rockydoc,

OJ Owens was supposed to be the future of the safety position. I have no clue what happened there. I know someone offered me one of his game jerseys for $70 and I didn't go for it.

i remember seeing highschool tape of OJ Owens and he was an absolute headhunter, just a beast. He gets to the Hill and goes into the witness protection program.
