I'm a Vol fan that lives in the Memphis area ,and I've already bought a few tickets for my friends and I to go to the game. We bought them from the UT allotment. How many fans are planning on making the trip to Memphis? Just curious

My seats are in section 111 on row 30. :dance2:

I'm going to try and go see it, I've never been to Neyland but at least I'll get to see my Vols in action for the first time. It sucks I've never been to a college game live before, so I'm dying to see Neyland hopefully soon.

I am planning on being there. Not going to buy tickets for awhile, I don't figure either team will be very good so I am thinking tickets will be pretty easy to come by

Yes, you can sit in the UT section. I bought my tickets early this morning from the UT allotment. Just go to University of Tennessee Vols and Lady Vols Tickets | UT Sports Tickets | Football, Basketball, Baseball and more and look under the away game category. I went to the UT-Memphis game in 06 and sat in the home section ,and basically half of the stadium was filled with orange. There were Vol fans all around me that weren't in the UT section.

You guys that haven't been to Neyland need to remedy that pronto. That should be your highest priority - Period.

That's why I love it when UT comes to Memphis or Oxford. It saves many Memphis area Vol fans from having to make a trip to Neyland. I plan on going to Neyland once this year ,but that's about all I can do.

If you want good ones buy now, cause it does draw quiet a crowd regardless, if not a sell-out! Lots of memphis VOLS fans here, always more orange than blue, its great!!!!!

Yeah, it's great. There are a lot of Memphis area Vol fans that don't get to see Tennessee play that often ,so many take advantage of seeing them in Memphis. It's basically a home away from home (except for 1996 )

I live an hour from Memphis so I'm seriously considering going to that game. Already bought tickets for Oregon vs Tennessee. It's the day before my sons birthday, and will be his first game.

The BBQ would be the only reason to drive that far. As a native Memphian, the BBQ is the only thing I would miss if I moved away. :birgits_giggle:

You've never been to Memphis but you have the guts to call it the butt-hole of Tennessee?

How did you know? :)
