One of the keys to the game. He was all over Turner. Constantly harassing him up and down the court.

I was more impressed with his defense of Turner than anyone else on the team.

A lot went right in the game and this could easily be forgotten because nothing of much significance happened from it... but it kept Turner's mind engaged just to get the ball down the court, slowly wore him down.

So, great job Melvin! :clapping:

Turner just said in the news conference that "they didn't call it so it must not have been" when asked if it was a foul on the final play.

Perhaps Prince's defense of Turner on the last play of the game was just as impressive, doncha think?:p

Yea, considering for the first time all year we didn't foul on the 3 point shot! All ball and the rest of his body wasn't near Turner. Finally a clean defense of a 3!

Turner still had 31 points and 7 rebounds and 5 assists. That is one heck of a game.

The problem is UT shut down everyone else. He was all they had in the second half and he couldn't close it out.

He got some help in the first half, but he dominated in the second but Tennessee depth was too much.

Is he inferring that it WAS a foul, and that the refs just didn't call it?

Yea. In his defense the reporter asked an unanswerable question. Essentially, "wasn't that a foul?" Kind of hard to answer that one.

Doesn't matter anyway. We won!

One thing about Turner's last shot. He was not fouled. If you can watch the replay in slow motion and you will clearly see Turner uses his left hand to initiate contact with JP, There was no foul not even close to being a foul on JP. All the contact was initiated by Turner. The fouls that weren't called were about 4 to 2 against Tennessee.
