Yeah, I had the guy and he was something else. I'm assuming most of the things you might have heard about what he said, he said. He pulled no punches.

But of course. I tried, but couldn't ever get his class on my requested course list. Is he still alive?

I did have Dr. Andy Spiva. He was a hoot. Dr Norm Deatrick in Accounting was simply an awesome professor and human being.

Andy Spiva was a linebacker on the football team, went on to play for the Falcons, died early in an auto accident. The economics prof was Dr. George Spiva. When I was in school '69-74 Warren Slagle was the TV accounting prof.

Yes, George. Thank you. I've make that mistake a lot. Actually I used to just refer to him as Dr Spiva. Always heard that George's wife was filthy rich.

I wasn't saying that Deitrich was on video. I don't remember a video accounting class at all a decade after that. Maybe there was one for non-accounting majors. Had Harry Hughes for intro accounting. I think that Harry's job was to weed out accounting majors. Many switched to Marketing and General Business after his boot camp. He was a tough cookie for class #1.
