I have to believe we outnumber the extremists on either side.

I am neither for or against right now. I am not pro or anti right now. I am tired of the posters who think I have to pick a side. I don't.

Anybody with me?

I'm just a fan who doesn't have any control whatsoever. My season tickets are already purchased and I'll attend every game I can. I don't do protests.

I'm not about dragging somebody down. I'm not about being a blind follower. I'm just a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and I don't take kindly to somebody telling me how to be a fan. My momma and daddy raised me better than that.

Go Vols.

Three years into a guy's tenure is far enough that there's a large enough body of evidence that you can begin to form an opinion without being "an extremist."

Sure it is. But don't you think most sane fans that are leaning negative at least concede that the story will be told between now and early November one way or the other?

I could be thinking about someone else here Volly, but haven't you come at the people who question Dooley's ability as a HC here, and tell them the same thing?? I'm probably wrong on that, but I seem to remember something like that.

No. The sane ones get on here and tell us DD isn't going to make it.
Everyday. All day.

Don't be silly.

There have been 30 other games played before now, and his signature win is Cincinnati. Do we need another 4 to see if he's gonna work out?? Everyone knows this is his year to win, if he's going to. Because the possible exodus of players to the NFL, and likely 7-5 record before a bowl, make him likely to maybe have a .500 record or less in 3 years. You know as well as I do, that when your most positive people believe 8-4 is possible, that you've lost your competitive edge on the football field, and in the stands.

Nobody says you're wrong. Some just want to give a head coach the full 3rd year before buying the argument. What's so hard about that? There's not going to be a coaching change any faster either way.

Flo talked slow
Like real wet paint
She said
"A middle man's there
When the other ones ain't
He's got a left handed manner
That leans to the right
Sleeps all day
And keeps it up all night ..."
... I got an aunt in Ohio
And a boat that won't row
Some veterans insurance
And nowhere to go
"Darling, Can I be
your middle man?"
