I have to believe we outnumber the extremists on either side.
I am neither for or against right now. I am not pro or anti right now. I am tired of the posters who think I have to pick a side. I don't.
Anybody with me?
Three years into a guy's tenure is far enough that there's a large enough body of evidence that you can begin to form an opinion without being "an extremist."
I'm just a fan who doesn't have any control whatsoever. My season tickets are already purchased and I'll attend every game I can. I don't do protests.
I'm not about dragging somebody down. I'm not about being a blind follower. I'm just a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and I don't take kindly to somebody telling me how to be a fan. My momma and daddy raised me better than that.
Go Vols.
Sure it is. But don't you think most sane fans that are leaning negative at least concede that the story will be told between now and early November one way or the other?
There have been 30 other games played before now, and his signature win is Cincinnati. Do we need another 4 to see if he's gonna work out?? Everyone knows this is his year to win, if he's going to. Because the possible exodus of players to the NFL, and likely 7-5 record before a bowl, make him likely to maybe have a .500 record or less in 3 years. You know as well as I do, that when your most positive people believe 8-4 is possible, that you've lost your competitive edge on the football field, and in the stands.
