Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and Mouse

Looking to get one for my kid for Christmas. Any advice.

I have no opinions on brands, but look into the different types of keyboard keys. Mechanical ones have different tactile levels, so some are louder than others and have a different feel when pressing.

For gaming look into a keyboard with MX Cherry Red or Brown keys. Blues are the loudest and most tactile, but they're designed more for typists.

I bought this one for one of my boys a few xmas's ago and I now use it because he's upgraded to a Razor. It has blue keys. It's a little loud but I like it alot. Very responsive.
