Im very impressed with rob meachem but it just seems as much as they talk about him being the best complete package since carl pickins and all that.. it just seems like there always holdin him back... i mean i dont recall a game of his that went over 100 yards recieving... just seems to me that theyre always holdin him back. whats your thoughts?

I am not sure exactly on how you use him more. He is a great player, but face it, we have a lot of highly talented receivers who all get touches. The only thing I can think of is if we can actually start throwing the ball down the field verses the little dump passes that have become the primary option.

He seems to be slow, maybe it's just me but on screen passes and stuff like that he never breaks away. I think Hannon is the best of all of them.
I'm probably wrong about the slow thing, maybe I was on crack...He's definitely at least second best to Hannon. I do think we should pick about 3 of them and throw mostly to those instead of trying to spread it out so much.......they don't get enough touches.

He was the only receiver to record a 100 yard+ game in 2004. It came against Kentucky when he caught 5 passes for 145 yards!

Generally we take what the other team gives, hence the dump passes. I suspect as we start to show more of our offensive package, we'll go vertical a little more. The UAB game in no means showed our offensive capability. with CPF at the helm, that was to be expected.

that is why i love coach fulmer, he makes his team the underdog after a rough game, and then watch him go down to gainsville and whip florida's tail, perfect :hi:

in a way i tend to agree with you.. obviously he's not slow but i watched skyler green last night catch the ball in the open field... he took it all the way to the house and he looked bad as crap. I just cant see meachem doin something like that... fayton is the only one that has shown he can razzle dazzle. I think fayton is highly underrated and alot better then he gets credit for.!
