How are you so sure? Last year we had one QB that threw 30 feet above their heads and another than would be lucky to zip a 30 yarder.

Sure they dropped some passes that were catchable, but hardly any were on the money. I realize that it's the receivers job to go them, but solid passes were few and far between.

bingo...so instead of ripping our WR's cause of last season, lets look on to next year

That's the understatement of the year. They dropped a ton of passes last year that hit them square in the numbers. The job done by our wide receivers last year was nothing short of disgraceful.

I'm not disagreeing with that, I'm just saying that if the QB play was steady last season, they would have had more chances.

Personally, every time one hit them in the numbers, I think they were shocked.

Im not saying the WR played to potential and caught the balls they should have, but the QB situation didnt help either. Orangewhiteblood has it on the money

That problem works both ways, though. It's much more difficult for a QB to get in to a rhythm when he's having a number of passes sail on him due to poor footwork, and then a third of the time that he throws a good pass, the wide receiver drops it despite the fact that it hit him right in the hands.

As I stated throughout last season, a big part of Ainge's problem last year was sloppy footwork. Another major problem was his wide receivers dropping passes. That prevented him from ever getting in to a rhythm. I think that Cutcliffe will able to correct his sloppy footwork, and I think he'll rebound well this season.
