Through 5 games in the NFL so far Rice has 11 catches for 119 yards and a TD while Meachem has yet to make his first catch.
Wasnt Meachem supposed to be rookie of the year?? Whats happening?

I challenge you to dig up a post from anyone saying he would be rookie of the year.

Meachem was hurt and isn't on a team with crappy WRs like Rice is. Enough. Stop bringing this up until 5 years from now when we can really tell.

go home and count how many former Vols and cocks are playing (or have played) in NFL. I really like to break down all the positions with you.

Don't think that has anything to do with who is the better WR, but just the same there is now reason to make a thread like this. iHateOrange your just trying to stir the pot and there is no room on this forum for stuff like that:hi:

Even if some people did, that doesn't mean everyone on VolNation called Rice a worse WR than Meachem. Like I said there is absolutly no reason for you to make this thread.:peace2:

He should be a much better receiver. It just so happens that Rice's other WRs he's competing against are crappy enough to let him get significant playing time. Eleven catches really isn't that impressive either by the way.

Come back in two years when WRs come into their true forms.

Preseason injury and he's buried behind Colston and others. He will be good in the near future. Then we can talk.

Its only been 5 games. Whatd you expect for a rookie so far, 20? thats not realistic. Meachem's competition is that much better huh? Reggie Bush leads the team in catches. Marques Colston, whos had problems catching the ball all year is in second with 23.

As the Vol football team marches closer and closer to the national championship game, more and more Vol fans are getting a wee bit touchy.

I don't really follow the saints so I'm not going to try to figure out exactly what the problem is. I have heard that he hasn't been physical enough since he got to the NFL. Other than that, it took him until his junior year to catch on at UT, I'd say by his third year in the NFL he should catch on too.

Yep. I'd consider that competition twice what Rice has in MN......

You're the one claiming Rice is so awesome so 11 catches isn't impressive for such an "awesomebetterthanrobertmeachembyamile" receiver.

Remember when you posted a thread on how Rice would get drafted higher? Now you want to brag about six games?

Typical Lamecock fan, bragging about the pointless.

Judging a couple of early draft picks after five games is like sinking $10,000 into a mutual fund and evaluating the investment after a week.

Hey man, he has to brag while he's ahead, because once Meachem gets healthy, there that goes.
