Meachem Obvious

Meach is in a better position than any receiver drafted in the first round...maybe with the exception of anthony gonzales. N/O had a need for a receiver and has a solid quarterback that can get him the ball.

All things considered, I think things worked out quite well for Mr. Meachem. I believe he'll make an immediate impact.

Meachem had a daughter. He is going to get 7-10 million up front. He had already suffered one severe knee injury here. Makes sense to go to the draft.

I think we have another case of poor grades with Meachem possibly. Look back to the Bowl game,
and see his counterpart booted from the team.

Possibly we are looking at another Marcus Nash type player, he is great as long as the QB tells him where to go everytime, but could not learn NFL plays.

His athletic ability is not a question, his devotness to religion, and staying an assigned course is not a question, his character was not in question either.

That leaves one thing.....I knew he should have stayed
in school. I may be wrong, but that is the only thing
I can see keeping him out of the 1st round right now.

Like I said, I may be wrong. But what other indicators are there now?

Meach will do great things in the NFL. Though, I always thought when watching him give interviews that he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. I remember watching one interview he did and he was asked what he does on the field, he replied with something like," I look at the ball, and my eyes get REAL big, and I just catch it."
