Agreed, no way. And on top of that, who cares about that award anyways?

People from big markets whose players have a chance to win them.... That said, is the award to the best player, or the best player the National Champ, or the most outstanding player? Or perhaps the ND player who had the best year?

It was a hallowed thing, but now it's a popularity contest, so who really cares, frankly.

im not sure on the whole history of the heisman but it seems like the better percentage of the winners of the award go on to unsuccessful careers in the NFL
