Mel Kiper and Todd McShay are both idiots.
I prefer McShay, though, because he doesn't look like friggin' Conway Twitty.
i saw mcshay's comments on eric berry too, he believes USC's safety Taylor Mays will be drafted ahead of EB.
with that being said, a little background on McShay, he use to run Scouts.com, and when espn bought scouts, they gave McShay a job.
when it comes to grading high school talent, rivals is far more accurate than scouts, and apparently, mcshay/scouts ability to grade college talent/draft projections isn't as good either.

I'm pretty sure ESPN bought Scouts INC, which is completely different from scout.com
And he said that Mays was the best 4th or 5th year safety. He didn't mention Berry because he didn't do any true juniors.
Mike Williams
Scouts INC does like all of the draft ratings, stats, blah blah for ESPN I think.
And I know what your talking about. It was the top draft eligible players. Kiper did everyone, including 3rd year juniors and McShay just did 4th or 5th year players.
Was McShays list like
Sam Bradford
Gerald McCoy
Russell Okung
Taylor Mays
Colt McCoy?
And McShay just did a mock draft for next year. Berry isn't even in the top 10 and Mays was #8
And yeah, McCoy doesn't seem like a great NFL QB to me. He is actually 6'3 I think, but it seems like he plays a lot smaller than he is. He's kinda the opposite of Crabtree.
I didn't realize Okung was so highly thought of though.
Only players who are entering their fourth year on campus are a part of this projection, including Bradford and Penn State OLB Navorro Bowman.
