:the_finger:McBee and Goins are playing great defense. if they could just find their offensive groove. i expect Hopson and Maze to get less PT in the future.

yeah........McBee seems to be a Maryville Thug.....I'm really surprised at his rough attitude......

I just don't see McBee starting over Hopson. He's no where close to his talent level.

Seriously??? Mcbee is too short and slow. If he switches off on a bigger defender, he will be dominated every time. He hustles. I'll give him that, but I think he only plays to rest someone that can keep up. Maybe more PT against the CofCs of our schedule but not in big games.

That's something else about McBee. Every game it looks like he's looking to fight or has a bad attitude. It's pretty annoying IMO when he hasn't done ANYTHING yet. I mean geez

McBee showed his mental toughness. He will contribute on both sides of the ball, especially with Scotty's head games. He hustles and can hit the open 3, just cant create his own shot against superior athletes.

Let's face it all the guards need work and hopefully they will all improve as the season progresses. If our guards were playing like Tyler and Wayne what a Merry Christmas it would be.

I know the kid personally, def not a thug and not looking to be a bad***. Just a VERY HARD working young man looking to prove himself and to help this team for a long time. I sure hope he does not read the " JMO's " on this or any other boards. I think it says alot the way HIS teammates came to his defense on the loose ball that he went after, BW looked like someone coming to take care of his smaller brother lol

Oh yeah and as much as I like and respect this kid NO WAY he starts over Hopson. I talked to Skylar when Tennessee got Scotty, Skylar talked about how talented Scotty was and how unstoppable he could be. I think they either played or practice with the same AAU teams.

The person's minutes he should get are JP's. That guy sucks. I remember when he decided to come here, I was really excited! Hat said something like, "you guys are going to be dissapointed." I am beyond that now, I can't stand him, his inability to shoot the ball ouside of 5 feet, or his unwillingness to make a fundamental play on offense, or his stand stiff legged and bend at the waste defense, or his whine after every call, or his let my guy burn me so I can try to back tap the ball out and get a dunk!!! Although he doesn't have any tats!!

Yes, I'm disappointed about last night and the last play was befuddling, but all in all Vols played a tough game against a good opponent. So true about JP, what happened here? His role on the team is descending faster than Mark Mangino on a slip n' slide.
