that's awesome. just think how much better (and i know it was very good without him) our defense would've been this year with this stud still on the hill!

If not for a flawed playoff system Mayo would be bashing heads in the post-season. Congrats Mayo!! Go Pats!!!

And to think there were some eyebrows raised when the Pats took him higher than projected..... I guess CBB really knows more about talent than Master Kiper! :crazy:

True, but by draft day Mayo was flying up a lot of draft boards. I can remember several pundits including Kiper talking about Mayo being a player whose stock was rising.

Was Mayo the player who said that during the combine they asked him when the last time he cheated on his girlfriend, and he asked when was the first time?

I think it was him, but I'm not positive.
