Mayo, Ainge, Foster Talk About the Upcoming Season

No, prob. That was reassuring somewhat about the offensive line. I found it notable that the same question everyone else has about the receivers was the same one he had, what are they gonna look like with pads on. Sounds like they are looking alright now, though.

I thought that Ainge was really providing some quality answers and insight. We will have to wait and see...I'm not so sure about the potential of this WR corps to be more explosive than last year's .... but I get his point.

I didn't enjoy the Foster interview...I would have rather seen him talk about his work ethic leading into this season...but everyone has their own personality...and deal with us (the fans and media) in different ways. I like to think that the alter ego stuff is just a diversion so that he doesn't have to deal with the constant questions.

I think the Foster deal was more of a "sup of the moment" deal where he just grabbed the microphone and was goofing off. It wasn't a prepared interview like the Ainge one.

He seems to really be a lot smarter about the mistakes he has made in the past and how to correct them. I will give a lot of that credit to Cutcliffe and coaching, but Ainge has matured and is a very astute individual. I predict that by mid-season he will be on everyone's Heisman watch list and our receivers will be lighting it up.

At least Ainge sounds like his head is screwed on straight. Perhaps all of the garbage of the sophomore season is completely gone. The more I read the better I feel...at least from the psychology of the players standpoint.

I don't think i've ever been this anxious about a group of receivers. From the way Ainge and a few other have talked, this is either going to be a really good core of wideouts or a really dissapointing one.
