I am absolutely amazed that the pilot survived 350 MPH wind and -17 degree cold.
The copilot is a true hero.

Wow incredible thanks for sharing...I just recently watched a documentary where a Korean pilot evacuated his entire family in a Chinook by hovering it over a rescue ship...it was too big to land...he then had to go over water turn the helicopter right and jump into the water out of the left side...he made it and was reunited with his family The South Vietnam Pilot Who Performed a Daring Feat To Save His Family
