Maybe if Tennessee fans made their presence known at away games in bigger numbers, maybe our record would reflect that.I recall Coach Pearl requesting fans to travel.Maybe one day our basketball fans will mimic our football fans, travel in droves and fill road arenas with tons of orange.Just a thought.

There were quite a few fans at South Carolina wearing orange.

The team didn't give them much to cheer about.

Wait 'til the trip to Athens...

We ruled that roost last year. Lots of Vols here won't pass up the chance to see the Dawgs get the Pearl Necklace two years in a row at Stegeman.

It really shows when we go on the road...Kinda Jekyl & Hyde. Maybe we need one of the psychologist to give some post hynotic suggestion that makes us think we are at home. "No that not orange you are wearing, its Home White".

There was fair representation at the Vandy game as well and we almost pulled off the win.

Pretty sad if our team depends on hearing fans cheer to do well.

If you know anything about the game of college basketball momentum and runs are a big factor. The teams preperation and intensity should not be affected by the crowd. Yet anyone who attends games know the difference in scoring a basket to silence and scoring one to 24,000 rising to their feet.

So, now it takes 24,000 fans for us to win? Man, keeps getting worse.

Fans help, no doubt, but great teams are going to win regardless. So, I stand by my statement that it's fairly disappointing if it takes a big fan section cheering to get a road victory. It's college b-ball; there isn't going to be a huge road crowd because of when they play and the frequency.

Exactly, how many people outside of the "bluehairs" have the time to make a multiple hour trip during the week?
