to think that CLK could turn it around this coming season. I really like CLK, but I think I got my hopes up. When I watched the Army Senior game and the Under Armor game I saw how many guys, really good guys committed to GA and Fl. I mean do we have a chance to beat those guys next year. I cant take another year of losing to both of them.

Maybe you can do a Rip van Winkle next fall and wake up in August of 2010...

This will not happen overnight. We are going to have to be patient. Don't get me wrong, I want to see improvement each year and I think we will, but I don't look for us to get back in the hunt (SEC championship/National championship) any sooner than Kiffin's third year.

It's been 1 month, aren't we putting the cart before the horse.

I dont think so. Another thing to look at is Chaney. Every hire CLK has had was a good one and I see why he did it. But Chaney has had a tough go with the Rams what made him so special, how is he going to help coach up the 3 QBs we rotated in during the season.

Have you researched Chaney at all? You do realize his offenses were in the top 10 in the nation 6 of the 9 years he was OC at Purdue right? He was also their RC and mentored Drew Brees and Kyle Orton. I'm pretty sure if the little experience he had with the Rams was the biggest reason that CLK was hired, then Hamilton highly overestimated Lane.

OMG, OMG... Kiffin and his boys didn't transform our recruiting class into #1 in the nation in less than two months... I think I'm going to run around the house screaming ...

I'm too lazy to check. I know we've beaten them 2 out of the last 3 times at UGA and beat them at home last time around.

So, your judging a guy because he had the WORST OL in the NFL.

Please, everyone, do me a favor, STOP JUDGING THESE COACHES ON THEY'RE TIME IN THE NFL. They are completely different animals. NFL QB's>by a 1000 than college QB's.

The guy coached Breeze and Kyle Orton. Orton is average in the NFL but, he was hell in College.

Wow I have apparently upset you, maybe you should calm down. All I am saying is I am not sold. Clawson had a get track record every were he went as well. He turned teams around, you know, made them respectable even. then comes to UT and sucks it up. Plus last time I checked Purdue isn't in the SEC. I think the D is harder to play against in the SEC. People that of Clawson the same way and now he is fired.

Yes because going from the Big 10 to the SEC was so hard for Nick Saban. O, btw, Chaney's offenses 3-0 vs Saban's MSU squad.

That doesnt change the face that I live in GA and have to hear about it. I also think in the 8 games we are only 2 and 6.

Umm Tn and Ga are dead even in the last 10 yrs UT won in 98,99,04,06,07 Ga won in 08,05,03,02,01,00 Now if you listen to the useless clowns on local sports radio you would assume that UGA and Bama has 10 yr streaks going on. It has been pretty even with Ga and Bama has won four of the last 11. UGA loses a lot of people next year and if the Qb and Rb go pro they will be down. Fla will be very good next year because I doubt Tebow is going anywhere and they are almost all coming back. Bama will be good again as well. I am counting on another loss at Fla and hopefully win one of the two against Bama and Ga is possible or maybe even both. I just want to give everyone a game if they lose to Fla and can be in the game that is one thing but sick of watching the blowouts!

Michigan State?

And Chaney isn't calling the plays anyways. He is the OC by name. He is brought in more to aid Kiffin with the offense, recruit, and coach OL. So sorry if you thought that we were gonna bring in a top notch OC just to be CLK's right hand man on offense. Not too many huge names would be thrilled with that.

Are you related to Chaney or sleeping with him, cause you are really going out of your way to defend him. I just want to see what he has to bring to the table.

Did he bang your wife? Why the hatred? He was the TE coach with the Rams. He did an incredible job a Purdue. Last I checked, he hasn't coached a game at UT yet. Give him a chance before burying him.
