Maxims, Checkerboards, & Tradition

The decibel meter is an interesting idea. It could be a good thing at least until people start knowing to be loud all the time again. The game maxims I could care less about unless the team is actually going to execute them on the field. I don't know about having rock music or rap playing over the speakers all the time. At that point it would be like an NFL game. Not that there is anything wrong with NFL games (I had a great time when I went to see the Titans a couple years ago) but the college atmosphere is something all it's own, and going to a UT game should feel like going to a college game and not an NFL game.

I love the decibel meter idea. I also think we should implement some sort of third down song to get the crowd up and yelling for the defense. I know Ohio State plays the Hell's Bells bells ringing every third down. Something like that would be a nice addition.

I like the current one that we have. If you type in we ready in youtube its one of those. It has the artists name on it not one of those highlight reels. The student sectioni goes NUTS and the place gets real loud when it's played. At least the game I went to they did.

another one id like is to put the "i will give my all for tennessee" signs up at every section. That way, when you go to sit down, you hit it. Maybe some ppl would feel entitled to go crazy and get loud, thus giving their all for tennessee that day.

Great idea! I would love to see everyone hit the sign on the way in and parents picking up their kids to hit it too. I would definitely get pumped after that. Cool, I like that.
