Never hated Matt. Respect him for his toughness but da*n I cussed him alot. It always seemed like he would do a "bird with a broken wing" type of thing back there. He would run around in circles then do a spin, two jumps backwards, the cha-cha slide, and finally throw it to the dirt. By that time my wife was stunned at the slew of four letter daisy-chained words that came out of my mouth. Kind of like Clark going off on his boss in Christmas Vacation.

Now what the video really showed was Matt Simms telling Sanchez, "This is what I did against UAB!"

Imagine post-Auburn Crompton! With the kind of pass protection we had last year, Georgia and South Carolina wouldn't have had a snowball's chance...

I remember that he did thread the needle against UAB in overtime to D. Moore. We won the game (1) because of that touchdown pass (2) UAB kicker missed 4 fieldgoals.
NOt surprised that he can throw or that he can learn the system well. He is just not a complete q.b. though.

Rick Clausen is so far ahead in that race that he's fixing to lap both of them. Granted, the bar was set pretty low for the guy in terms of play calling but his max throw range couldn't have been more than 18yrds. Although a well-liked guy, he had to have been the least talented QB we've had in the past 20yrs actually start.
