I'll be the first to say, as a Florida fan, that Patch is a bozo on all accounts. I remember last year, his freshman year, when he was asked what he brought to the team and his response was something like, "My sweet hair".

I bet if Patchan went through one of Kiffin's practices he wouldn't think he was a bozo.

I was thinking the same thing, it's not like he's throwing stones in a glass house, it's more like he's shooting a 12 GA shotgun in a glass house.

Dude is crazy. But he's mean. Exactly the kind of athlete you want playing on the offensive line.

And what, you guys don't think Urban's practices are tough? If he can survive a Meyer practice, I'm sure he can survive any practice in the country.

Heck, this guy got shot last year, but still managed to play some DT.

I really hope he wins the starting job at LT.

Patchen is funny and one hell of a player. There was a reason he was a 5 star recruit. Miami was pissed when he chose UF because his father was a Miami grad.

In any case he speaks his mind. Players hardly ever get any crap about what they say. How many times has a player said "We're going to take Tebow out!"? Slive or the coaches rarely say anything about it.

Ask yourself this... If Patchen was at UT and said Meyer is a clown what would be your response?

im not going to totally disagree with you on this statement. we would be very proud. but honestly it is disrespectful for any player to say that to the media about a coach. i am sure cum isnt happy neither would clk if a vol said it

He simply tries to garner attention for himself by making statements that make him seem like he is edgy. Reminds me of the guy in class that always tries to crack a joke with the teacher...the guy who never graduates and never makes anything of himself. Sort of an immature guy. Hopefully his decision making abilities off the field are better than what he showed in this interview or he could join a long line of UF players getting handcuffed. If he had half the maturity of Eric Berry he would be much more respectable.

Exactly...

I despise Florida but I respect Tebow. He doesn't have to smack talk other coaches in the SEC to get attention. He lets his play do all the talking. I wish there were more guys like that. Eric Berry is another.
