Pretty much means he is given around 15K or so plus a weekly salary to work out at the team facility and through camp. Teams need bodies during camp. Teams are hoping that maybe one of these undrafted free agents make a splash at camp. We know that Matt wont.

You don't know. You may guess or think. But you don't know.

I don't know, I think he is a joke when he is playing here, but maybe KC just wants to check out the tattoo on his right arm?

Sure I know more than NFL coaches. I remember the pattern of the tattoo, but other than this, I don't remember anything he shows up on the field. :)

:dance2: Joins Turk and Dustin Colquit! :dance2:

I read the interview with Turk on the Chiefs website and He mentioned that Hannon was there also. As much film as the NFL guys look at you have to think they saw something that at least made them want to see more than the tat. I go with the Scout on this one, they must have saw something we didn't.

I hope it wasn't the play where he had a sure sack on the QB coming up the middle and just totally grabbed air and went tumbling by.

I wish him luck though, maybe he can make the most of his opportunity.

Its all about fitting into a system in the NFL. He is in no way a pass rusher out of the DT position. But, if a team's defense is composed where they have great rushers and all they need is a good run stopping clog in the middle then he can contribute. He has good size and is very strong.

How many FA rookies see significant playing time? Exactly no reason to get excited. He'll be a good practice squad player. He might see some Sunday PT. But it's highly doubtful he will. That is all

He wasn't very good at stopping the run at UT. I don't see why he'd be expected to do it at the NFL level. I wish him all the best though. He played at UT, and even though he wasn't that great, he was one of the two best DTs we had. For that, I'm sorry he's gone.

They make more than that, they make like 30k a week so they make good money. They go through a series of cuts each week and thats how they decide who stays.

Good size? He's like 6' maybe and like 300lbs. He's a stump. I'm telling you, he won't make the playing team. Maybe practice squad, but I doubt it.
