Other than Webb, who else does Vandy have on offense? Shurmer is a serviceable QB, but with nobody to throw it to. Their O line is crap. While their defense took strides last year, they still got gaped by a few teams.

If they lose to MTSU, which is a distinct possibility given that last game was pretty close, that could start a downward spiral that destroys their season.

All the players have to do is lose faith in the coaching staff and the season is ready to put a fork in. We saw that ourselves during the Dooley years.

Vandy got better, and they should beat SCjr. Heck, Mizzu and Florida better watch out. That sounds like a slap to Florida, but I'm just saying that with the respect Vandy plays good D and if Florida doesn't get their offense going Vandy will take them to the wire. Mizzu has a promising QB but their D isn't any better than Vandy. Dores should be close to making a bowl. The idea of only beating 2 teams is crazy.

Pretty good, except he got Tennessee and Alabama mixed up.

If Ole Miss can win 11 after losing their entire Oline and 3 biggies on D, then Freeze should be coach of the year!

They have us giving up way too many points vs what's going to happen in reality

i dont buy any of this sorry. They are about a 5 win team at the very best. I saw every game they played last yr and ppl seem to give them a little too much credit. They have a garbage OL with a QB that seems to be decent but is a statue. Right now they dont have a Center that has ever played in a game. I mean ppl only think the QB is ok bc he threw a couple TDs vs UTs 3rd team when they were down by 38. What else did he do? They play good defense most of the time but they still run into teams like UT who they cant match up with at all. winning season would mean 7-5 or 7-6 and thats not happening IMO. They'll lose one to GT or SC. Then theyll lose to UT, UGA, UF, Ole Miss, AU and maybe to one of either UK/Mizzou. I actually think theyll lose at UK. And to act like WKU or MTSU cant beat them is naive bc they surely can. WKU just did it last yr at Vandy.

... You just kinda agreed with me when you said 5 wins at best. Im saying they will get 5 wins. I agree they can lose those games, but they beat Mizzu and should have beaten Florida. SCjr will be pretty bad. Im just saying 3 of the East teams is big on defense and avg or poor on offense like them. That bodes well for them. If they improve some they can pull off an upset. Altho when I posted that I didnt know about the injuries.

i thought you said they would have a winning season my b. Yeh they just barely edge dout Mizzou in nashville in the ugliest game you have ever seen. I think this yr Mizzou wins that way at home. SC will def be the worst team in the conference

Well I said they would be close to making a bowl... So we def have different views on how they will finish. But 2 wins? UK at only 4? Hogs at 10???
