Martin Truex Jr. Fans?

I like Truex now. I didn't care for him when he first came up to the Nationwide and Cup because it seemed like he was getting all the attention because he was connected to Dale Jr. Not that I don't like Dale Jr either but I prefer to see guys make it on their own(which Truex has shown he deserves to be where he is) not riding the coattails of another person.

Thank god im not the only one whewww..... Im the only one who likes him out of all my friend's. I've liked him since his first year in the Nationwide Series. It's not because he is connected to Dale Jr. because i despise Jr. not because of his personality or anything just because i think he get's way to much attention & is over rated as a driver.

Truex is one of those drivers I don't normally pull for, but I would like to see him win. For the most part his talent has been wasted at DEI - Ganassi/Earnhardt.

I expect him to be in a different car in 2010. Can you believe MW's #55? This is more than likely Mikey's last full time season.

Mikey will put someone in that 55 car next year if the right opportunity presents itself. Honestly I could see any of the following 3 drivers at MWR next year in the 55...

Truex Jr - he's still not doing much at EGR. His contract is up - he will be making a move somewhere IMO. The only sticking point I see with him is the fact that I think he could easily move to become a 3rd car at Stewart-Haas or even replace Mears at RCR.

Danica Patrick - this is the type of signing that could get MWR all the attention in the world. I'm not saying that DanicaMania wouldn't become sickening like it is now in the IRL but it would be a good business move on the part of MWR. If he had her with Napa staying on board he'd have a big time sponsor for a huge superstar of a driver. I can see the new Napa commercials already with Mikey, her, Macy, Capps, Reuti, etc.

Kasey Kahne - this would be the one that would make the most sense for performance IMO. I do know that DW and Kahne have become pretty tight over the past couple of years. Kasey could be a good fit for a big sponsor as well.

Those are the 3 drivers I could see Mikey stepping aside from his ride for next year.

If offered by Stewart-Haas, that's the direction he should go. As it is, I don't think that will happen and I believe that MWR or a 4th JGR team in 2011 are his two most likely destinations.

Definitely time for Mikey to hang it up and just be an owner.

I think Kasey most likely stays with RPMS, although as a fan, I would like to see him somewhere else. Not sure MWR is the right fit though.

I agree about Kahne, those Bud Bucks are hard to let go of. I think he would be winning 2 to 3 races minimum if at JGR, Roush, HMS or RCR.

I've always said he was a wasted tallent at Everham Motorsports. I don't think his sitiuation has improved since Petty has come on board. I would say he is near the top 5 tallent wise in NASCAR but doesn't have good enough equipment or people. I would prefer he go somewhere else. He would loook better in NAPA blue than Budwiser. He just doesn't strike me as a beer type of guy... I would love to see Khane at Stewart Haas in a third car next year.Is Bass Pro planning on going wherever Truex goes?
