Doesn't seem to be getting as much PT with the return of Moore and Jones? I know he was a great DB in high school player (I think that's where he projected at UF). Any thought of moving him to CB and Rogan to FS?

I would trust the coaches on this. My take it is a little late for him to learn the schemes in the short time before the end of the season. He would be great though.

Maybe not this year but next year if all of the committed WR's so far come on board. We will be overstocked at receiver (this assumes that neither Jones or Moore go pro). Teague is too talented to waste.

Moving positions from offense to defense after a freshman year isn't a good idea in my opinion. It's like knocking them back to their freshman state when you do it. I think unless we absolutely have to have him move to have enough guys we should but that's it. This late in the year would be beyond stupid. You'd be asking a guy to memorize a whole defense and then play well in a week, so no

Rod wilks!!!!!!

hell be moving back there shortly. all of a sudden we dont look that good in the secondary. jj not being there is reason number 1 but we need somebody to step up in the secondary and make some plays. we also need a top shelf corner this year in recruiting.

He's legit at WR as a FRESHMAN!!! Key word, freshman...He will be a huge contributor at that position for years to come, why try to turn him into anything else now?

You see our secondary yesterday? I remember when Majors switched Carl Pickens from WR to the secondary in mid season against LSU (not saying Teague is a Pickins)......but if you have a weak spot in the secondary you pay for it.

He needs more plays on O. That reverse Gerald Jones got should have went to Teague. I mean there are ways to get him touches.

Why no love for CJ Fleming? He looked pretty good vs. Memphis... Granted, it WAS Memphis but still... Dude can play!

Teague is one of those athletes that will be extremely successful no matter where you put him...I can see why Monte wants him pretty bad on defense..he would be a stud corner as well...i would not be suprised to see the move made with all of the Wrs coming in..teague could move to D and keep some packages on O for him...I think they should seriously consider giving Teague the wildcat package

I watched Teague play a couple of games in high school and know a little about him. He did play some corner and safety roles, plus was a good QB, great runner and a very good passer. He is very fast and very smart...I think a 4.0 GPA in HS. Great kid... will be very good where ever he is used. Was surprised he came to Knoxville. He was going to Vandy to focus on pre-med/medical school track, then Kiffin came in and sold him.
