i'm not a hater
I think you may have misunderstood my earlier post. I was not referring to you at all. You acknowledged in your earlier post you thought he looked pretty good tonight. I was simply pointing out his play to some on here that have been dogging him as being too slow etc. Think he proved them wrong. :)

His talent is evident in his videos. I had doubts about his speed...once he broke it he was pulling away from both defenders down the stretch(one being Myles). Looked to be pretty swift.

What was his stats for the game? I missed it...

Did anyone else look good that we have a shot or are for sure getting?

of the other recruitors going out and visiting him, what could be more impressive than the kiffins and coach O. This kid needs to be coached by the best i hope he comes.

One thing that we all have to remember about last nights game is the fact that no one had their true speed on display. I would be willing to bet that most of the players weren't giving a 100% effort, more like a 85-95% effort. Marlon did look good on that play though.

I in no way think he is a lock by any means but does anyone know if the WR from Pennsylvania is still a commit or is he out?

you think the CB and S that were chasing Brown were only giving 85%? I seriously doubt that they wanted to be embarrassed on national television.

There are very few players at any level that give 100% during all-star games. The only one that really means anything in sports in the MLB all-star game now because it has an actual meaning to it now for home field in the World Series. Anyone who thinks that those players were giving their all last night is fooling themselves.

Isn't it also conceivable then that Marlon Brown wasn't giving 100%?

What if the CB and S were giving 95% and Brown was only giving 75%? Scary.

oh yeah, busy trying to find a house to move into, fix the truck, sling liquor, and hook up with girls that look vaguely like starlets. How bout you?
I'm married, so nothing so exciting. Did get to Nashville for about a week over the holidays and played a bit of golf. My wife doesn't really go for the me and starlets thing, so I've steered clear there.

Good holiday either way. Kiddos get the whole Santa thing now and their anticipation makes the whole thing work. Very entertaining.

Hell, let me know next time you are in Nashville, I'll buy you a tasty beverage.

And the starlets thing isn't working out for me too well either, apparently I can be a bit abrasive.

what's the freaking deal with people not wanting to hear the truth.

I dunno, but I don't care how attractive and interesting she is, if her friends are being idiots I am going to let them know.

In case anyone in wondering if this is relevant to the thread, I was being 85% honest to 100% douchebags.

and letting her know she's a moron is cool too, after the transaction is closed.

This kid is so predictable, he still has campus visits left but I could read that kid like a book, this kid is coming to Tennessee, he was flattered by how much attention he got from Kiffin when Kiffin started at UT and he loves the staff, Marlon Brown To The Big Orange, Possible Heisman in the future, I mean he has blazing speed and he is going to make a great addition to this ball club if he chooses to come which is most likely. All I needed to see tonight was his first play from scrimmage on a slant back to the inside and then blazing 77 yards all the way to the endzone.

He can turn on the jets fellas and when he does, it doesn't matter, inside, outside, or just straight up the middle, he's taking it to the house. That touchdown was awesome and I loved his canning ability to sprint off the line like he did and get around defenders like they weren't nothing but boys playing against a man.

I'll take a couple quarts of beans.

Yeah...Rod Wilks might have something to say about that.

Might? What do you mean might? Wilks WILL have something to say about that. I think they will rename the award The Wilks Trophy
