Jay Graham is a bad ass, he won't put up with any bull****. There won't be any more quitting on offense, disrespecting Tennessee, or tip toeing in the backfield.

This was a great, great hire.

Lane is to slow...saw that against arkansas when 3 players chased him down from behind.

Hard to believe that has been 15 years ago. Man, I'm getting old.
With this hire, all I can do is smile. Graham will get 100% out of our rbs folks.

Lane should be faster another year past his surgery.

We do need some speed at RB though.

Charlie Garner, Little Man, Travis Henry, Jamal Lewis, Travis Stephens...Arian Foster is showing what he could have done if used more effectively.

Not everyone knows that Jamal was lined up deeper during his junior year and it helped a lot. He was running so fast that he kept hitting the holes before they were open.

Lane will be much improved if Graham can just get him to break his bad habit of hesitating on runs.

Lane never has been and never will be as fast a Graham. Jay is one of the fastest we've ever had at the position.

That's not to say that Lane doesn't have the potential to be a really nice RB for us.

Lane will be fine this upcoming season. Unless he gets injured. His knee was giving him issues since the cincy game. It usually takes 2 years to fully recover from his injury, thats why i would rein back my optimisim with hunter.

A 80% Hunter is far better than anyone else we had to line up with Da'Rick

The only player that caught him was a dback. Dbacks are supposed to be fast and the dback had a pursuit angle. Lane will get faster with another year removed from major knee surgery and he also had some other nicks he was dealing with. He lost a year of S&C with the knee surgery and rehab.

Not to take anything away from Graham, but this specific run wasn't that impressive. Fast, though.

It was pretty obvious that after the first couple of games that Lane hit the freshman wall. There aren't many freshman RB's that can handle the tough grind of a full SEC season (toughest in the country at that) without a year or 2 of work in a top notch off-season conditioning program. He showed some very good signs early in the year of what is to come from him and I look forward to seeing him be the starter next year. He will be very good next year, and even better the year after.
