I had an orange rose in my mouth, as many UT fans did, as I walked into the Georgia Dome. I think its safe to say the entire UT camp, fans included, were pretty overconfident that game.

Yup. Little did we know that that game would be the pivotal moment in Fulmer's regime. The could-have-been dynasty died that night, and instead we've seen his support chipped away more and more every year.

You could be right.

Let me also add that despite everyone's overconfidence that game, our fans did outnumber their's about 3-to-1, so its not like we didn't show up.....making the loss that much more painful. And every guy in a SUV with spinners on Peachtree yelling "go tigers" and "Tennessee sucks" on the way back to my friend's car.

Yes they were. I was crowded by them on the MARTA, I felt like I was in a third world country listening to them hemming and hawing. If I would have had a WMD I would have set it off.

It even extended out to AZ. I watched with another UT alum and there were a couple dozen LSU fans there. It almost got ugly for us that night.

We did get to pay them back in 05 though :)

LSU fans are pretty much trash. We can go round and round about whether Alabama, Georgia, or Florida fans are the worst, but if we had to deal with LSU every year I suspect their fans would be right there in that discussion.

bama and SC are probably the most delusional, but LSU and UF's are the worst

I've seen every SEC team play in Bryant Denny Stadium and the most obnoxius fans by far are Georgia's. Bar None!

thats inexcusable. o well, they went crying home after the game. im guessing they were drunk cajuns?
