What is the thought about Mark Richt I think he would hire a really good staff and be able to recruit well.

He would be a drastic, drastic improvement over anything we have had the last 15 years.

Richt's career record is 171-64, we are 73-75 since firing Fulmer.

His problem was always finding a decent defensive coordinator. He fielded alot of championship level offenses, just usually couldn't pair it with a championship level defense.

There is just not much out there and I would love to have Freeze but after what came up today I just don't see it. Outside of Freeze you have Malzhn and a bunch of what could be sure some have potential but we would have to hope that the potential came through.

He walked away from coaching at his own alma mater. I think he just doesn't want to have to go through that any more.

He had his chance to start over at Miami and didn’t do much with it. We don’t need more 90s style football. We need an innovative offensive mind.
Well he won his division there, and won 10 games a year give or take. We have done a whole lot worse. Thing is, he is retired, but make no mistake, he can coach, 2 SEC titles, 5 SEC East titles, and 1 ACC Coastal, I think is what it’s called title.

We coveted Jeff Brohm 3 years ago and he said no thanks. We could dig him out of the bargain bin for cheap right now. Hyams says he’s interested.

Or Mike Gundy. He played us a couple of times to get salary bumps. He owes us a solid.
