CBJ is starting to loose this program. It's getting ridiculous to be honest. The play calling and player development has been underwhelming to put it nicely.

You think South Carolina's defense made UT look stupid, wait until Tennessee plays Vandy. Yes Vandy.

The only Defense I have seen make us look stupid is Alabama's.

The rest of the times we looked stupid I think we get our own credit. South Carolina didn't force the fumble or throw passes in the dirt.

You are delusional, or you have blocked out the App State and Ohio games from your mind . Teams that this defense should have crushed, as we were still healthy, and we still came out and played like a poorly coached high school team.

If this team had a half decent qb that can read the field make all the right throws this team would probably only have one lost..we have one of the worst offenses in the country and if you are a WR why would you want to come here..our WR are barely getting targeted during games....we don't stretch the field..same bs play calling from week to week..how you let a freshman out play you? the kid supposed to be a senior in high school this year but left after his junior year...smh and he have the gamecocks looking good again...in this league you have to a qb that can at least manage the game.. I promise this team going to look night and day next year when we use a different qb..

I don't think I'm really arguing against your point. I agree our healthy 'offense' should have crushed them and we came out and played like a poorly coached high school team.

We didn't need much help with the looking stupid part. We handled that on our own.

If some idiot is doing a burnout, spinning tires and goes off the road when another driver changes lanes into his blind spot the driver changing lanes didn't run him off the road.

We engineered that wreck ourselves. App and Ohio were there. ..

All 4 football analyst on "College Football Sunday" said that the problem at TN is definitely the coaching, Particularly Debord. :loco::thud:

:eek:lol:...must be nice getting paid good money pointing out the obvious...rocket scientists everyone...also, there have been up to 19 injured players with some not coming back, and, when they did they weren't 100%...changes will be made, no doubt...they have to be...Butch and Coach Debord may have to part ways...:)

GO VOLS!

After I've had two days to think about this game, this team, this coaching staff. CBJ has lost control of the whole program at UT. The South Carolina game just highlighted a deeper issue going on at UT that has yet to rear its ugly head. Sometimes these things take events like Bama and USCjr to reveal itself. This is a coach who has tried to build a football team with bricks but no mortar and eventually the wall comes tumbling down. DeBorg was CBJ biggest coaching mistake, he allowed personal feeling to get in the way of good judgement and he ran off some of his more loyal staff members. There is something deeply wrong here that has not been published, but it's coming.

I agree, we were just incredibly ****ing lucky the lid didn't come off in those first few games.
