Every time I see this guy on TV I want to punch something. His obsession with USC is nauseating. Today he smugly reaffirmed how he believes USC would go undefeated in the SEC.

USC year in and year out has the biggest target on their back in the whole country. They had Leinart and Bush to help them overcome that before, and now even though they still have great talent at QB and RB, its not as good as when they had those two guys.

I think USC might be the best in the country but they will lose a game or two to less talented teams like they did last year.

I loved when he called SC the best team in the country even after they lost to oregon state. I hate the man too. He's such an arrogant jerk.

Lets face it...USC is LOADED!!!!...They thumped an Arkansas team that drilled our mighty VOLS last year. This will be the last year for USC dominance and it will be Pete Carrolls last year at the Trojan helm....he is heading back to the NFL after this year.

I can take Mark Mays as long as I don't have to watch Trev Alberts.

While technically true, the Arkansas that played us was not the same Arkansas that played USC. Their entire offensive philosophy changed, and their heisman candidate had a broken foot for the USC game. I still think they probably would have lost to USC, but it would have been a much better game had they played later in the season.

Well the Vols weren't exactly mighty last year. However good Arkansas was during the middle portion of last year, they are still probably 7th or 8th at best in the SEC talent level pecking order.

USC definitely has the talent to beat any SEC team, but about five or six SEC teams have the talent to beat anyone else in the Pac-10, and this year I would say that LSU is just as good if not better than USC.

SC has better talent and coaching than LSU IMO. Neither will finish the season undefeated.

There are 120 other teams with better coaching. That is an undisputable fact....well I will go with 119 as long as coach O is around.

maybe slightly better talent offensively, but not on defense. LSU's defense was insanely good last year and returns 8 starters. Better coaching for USC is true though.

USC lost 2 games to lesser pac 10 teams last year and Cal wasn't outwright weak 10 champs, why would it be any different this year?

All people remember is booty in the rose bowl, they don't remember how bad he looked against UCLA.

Well I hardly ever assail anyone because of their spelling, because I too make errors. But you leave me no choice in this instance because your post was meant to be hurtful and demeaning to a program I love and respect very much. Allow me to return the favor, it's “outright” not “outwright.”

I'm no Southern Cal fan but that team is freakishly loaded. I don't see anyone beating them this year.

I think only LSU and UF would play them close. I hate SC but they would beat us by 21. I really think they could go undefeated in the SEC. In the PAC-10 the can easly over look teams because lets face it the PAC-10 is week. Where as in the SEC, SC would have to be "up" every week because of the talent. I think it would force them to stay focused each week and if they do that there is no team in the nation that could beat them.
