That was quite a two game stretch for the Braves. In either the game before or after Johnson's perfect game, they played the Brewers and I think Sheets had something like 18 strikeouts against them.

It certainly wasn't after, because the day after the game I talked to a Brewer's fan and we discussed how Ben Sheets great game was already being overshadowed.

I remember a Giants pitcher had a one hitter w/ no walks the same day as RJ's perfect game. That had to have upset him a little, even w/ a great game. It could have been 2 perfect games in a day for the first time ever, but instead, he got no PG or NH.

That's why I said before or after, because I didn't know. I knew it was in back-to-back games for the Braves however.
