LSU: FootballScoop has confirmed that Florida wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales is leaving the Gators. We are hearing he is heading to Baton Rouge to join the LSU staff.

If this is true, you can mark him off the potential WR coach list

According to multiple sources Eye On The Tigers.com has learned that Les Miles has acted swiftly to replace the resigned Wide Receivers Coach DJ McCarthy.

Multiple sources have told Eye On The Tigers.com that Florida Receivers Coach Billy Gonzales has agreed to become the new receivers coach at LSU.

Gonzales has been in the staff at Florida since 2005.

Prior to that he has been a receivers coach at Utah, Bowling Green and Kent State.

The early name floating around as Gonzales replacement is Zach Azzanni from Central Michigan. Not a big name, but has a solid career so far.
